Professional bio

After graduating in medicine from the University of Zurich, Switzerland in 2011, I began my residency training at the Kantonsspital St. Gallen in anesthesiology, critical care and prehospital emergency medicine. I am certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support, and have worked as a prehospital emergency physician for the ambulance service in the St. Gallen area. In 2014, I completed the Swiss National Board Certification Examinations in Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation.

Following a year of internal medicine at the Kantonsspital Baden, I returned to the Kantonsspital St. Gallen in 2015 to continue my training in intensive care medicine and to pursue my interest in clinical research. Since completing rotations in surgical intensive care medicine and pediatric anesthesia, I've been working as a prehospital emergency physician for Swiss Air-Rescue (REGA) and the St. Gallen ambulance service.
